Ahhh my first Clan event . . . or “The Art of War”
Played twice today and wish to share a beginners experience and observations. Hopefully to help us work well as a Clan.
Unless you are a hoarder of BP, your contribution to the battle will consist of the BP you have accumulated from the last one. If you have some stored, you would like to spend them wisely I assume.
If you don’t like the opponent the game throws up, don’t be afraid to look for another one. Most Clans have weaker players and (supposedly) this is randomly set up. Changing costs 60 EP though.
I labor under the assumption that the goal is to win the battle and its attendant rewards. If the other clan is asleep and Kaos is ahead . . . save your BP for the next one. Of course it does regenerate, use your good judgment in getting CP. I would advocate we all go all out only if it looks like we can make rankings. (I know some of our members are quite capable in that regard
Try to keep the chain running – it lasts ten minutes. We don’t need ten members spending all their BP in the first ten minutes of the battle, leaving ten minutes of chain to benefit all. Take a deep breath, watch who’s on and what they are doing via the Battle History. Plan ahead unless you have to run off to work or school LOL! Get your battle on when it looks like no one else is jumping in. Make sure you can kick your opponent’s behind! Another member may show up at minute nine, just in time to extend the chain.
If you have time, take notes of who is beating who in the Battle History as well. If you get an opponent that is killing Clan members and looking sooooo innocent … you may want to pass.
Last but not least – Our first battle today, not one opposition player showed up against us. Tonight was a different story. We were holding our own, then along comes two of their clannies, flush with BP, and out for blood. What did I learn from that? Might be a good idea to monitor battle and not jump in full force in the first five minutes. Patience is a virtue. Keep the game even and wait for advantage. (Kinda like Ebay sniping LOL.)
If you’re going to play, I would ask a courtesy “IN” on the Clan site to let people know. It lets everyone know reinforcements are on the way. Check the Clan as U play. This event can make us all stronger and enrich the Clan!
Comments totally welcome!
