I powered up a C to c+ with a like monster - Is that the way? Can u use other ones?

No there is no way you can only evolve A-A+ and then you can also evolve AA-AA+ the C's and B's are all "scrap" used for selling or sacrificing to make your A,A+,AA,AA+'s more powerful
There is also B's that have skills that can be sacrificed to increase the power of your higher monsters skills

Keep in mind the higher level the monster the HARDER it is to increase those skills. So the best strategy is to harvest your like skilled cards early to increase the skill of the main card at the lowest possible time. i.e. 7-10 to avoid powering it up needlessly without the benefit of the skill increase.

Yes but don't waste them on "fluff" A/A+/AA/AA+/AAA. Wait until you get what you REALLY want to keep, unless you're building it up for auction to get something you need for your best 5-Combo.

And if you want to do that you should use the spreadsheet that i have and search for the same type(brute, wyrm, demon) i list thoes because there the ones that i can think of that have winged as well and you need winged for a 5x combo and try to keep them the same color

Im starting to see the concept. That spreadsheet (after I explored a bit) is a masterpiece. I still havent tied that info on how to make a B into an A though :-( I keep searching . . . I doubt Id be having this much fun in another Clan. Thank u all (and TheDarkOne) for letting me play here.

The reason why you're not finding it is because you can't make a B into an A. Only A's and above can be evolved.

Ooooo I get it now. I was under the wrong assumption that lower cards 'grew up' into higher cards, not that they are what they are. Been studying the rules more closely now that I have some experience to back up what I read.

no worries. There was a very short period that lower cards were able to evolve but that went away in about a week and never came back.

That leads me to Skills - will a B+ card with a skill ever transfer that skill to an A/A+ without a skill in sacrifice?
How do I get my poor unskilled A+ some tutoring?

yes you just sacrifice the B with the skill on it by its self to the A

Thats what I did - I had a skilled B+ (dont remember) that I sacrificed to my unskilled Devil Ripper A Lev 11 - hoping to get him a skill - and not much happened.
So how can can I get my Devil Ripper some skill? Wiki said sacrifice a spirit - tried that earlier with no effect.

My point proven. I have always been under the assumption that an Unskilled only gains a skill, if it can at all, is only through evolution.
